  2.4 Internationalization and Internationalization Testing

Internationalization is planning and implementing products and services so that they can easily be localized for specific languages and cultures. Internationalization deals with the aspect of development and testing relating to handling foreign text and data within a program.

Internationalization testing is the process, which ensures product performance when used in different languages or locales. Internationalization testing process is similar to manual functionality testing with some addition of activities. While functionality testing focuses on checking the proper system behavior, I18N testing emphasizes on checking that all the messages are externalized.
